There are many "Happiness is . . . " sayings that warm our hearts and bring smiles to our faces.  Some of my favorites are "Happiness is . . . being married to your best friend," "Happiness is . . . an evening with a good book," and "Happiness is . . . a completed to-do list."  Just this week I heard a cute one ~ "Happiness is . . . walking barefoot in the grass." 
   The Lord has graciously blessed us with an abundance of simple pleasures that make life meaningful.  For Christians there is no pleasure that compares to the complete fulfullment that we find in Christ.  When our "Happiness is the Lord" even life's simple pleasures take on greater significance because only through the Lord can we find true joy!  When the source of our happiness is the Lord our lives truly can be full of joy regardless of circumstances.
   Gala 2012 is going to be full of fun.  Believe me  you will be happy while you are here!  However, it is our prayer that you will leave equipped for a lifetime of  happiness and true  joy! 
   We are looking forward to you being our guest on April 13 - 14.  Until then, keep your eyes open for life's simple pleasures ~ and enjoy them thoroughly through the Source of true joy!
