Home		My fellow pastors' wives who have attended the Gala previously know it is no secret that the Pastors' Wives Mini - Gala is one of my favorite aspects of the entire Gala!  Six years ago my husband and I had a desire to get to know the senior pastors' wives personally, so we scheduled a brief session for that purpose.  Obviously, that was a very special time since we decided to make it an annual occurence.  Each year since then we have had the Senior Pastors' Wives Mini-Gala ~ and it has just gotten bigger and better each year.  This year is our sixth annual Senior Pastors' Wives Mini-Gala!     Each year I try to plan a time that is meaningful on several levels.  Our desire is for every senior pastor's wife to go home encouraged and refreshed in the Lord.  We also attempt to provide an environment for great fellowship and friendship.  It has been a great joy to my heart to get to know you dear ladies, not just as fellow pastor's wives, but as friends!      As has become our custom, we will serve some very decadent refreshments for your enjoyment!  In addition, I have a very special lesson I will be sharing with you about some things the Lord has been teaching me since last Gala that I believe will be a blessing to your heart.     I would like to do something new this year ~ I want to hear from YOU!  I suppose that most of us lead the ladies' ministries at our local churches, and we are ALWAYS on the lookout for new ideas and events that would be of interest and help to our ladies.  If you are like me, I have tried some things that have been very well-received as well as some things that have not been as successful.  I would like to ask that each of you to come prepared to share briefly your VERY BEST IDEA FOR LADIES' MINISTRY.  In fact, if you have information you would like to put on a handout, I would love for you to have that prepared to give to each lady.  (We usually have around 30-35 seniors pastors' wives.)
